How BioEsenca uses the data collected

in particular, we use the data collected to carry out the following business activities:

Respond to your enquiries or requests
Send products ordered or information requested
Process payment for your purchase and ensure delivery
Create or help manage your account on our online shop
We protect against or identify potentially fraudulent transactions
Send you emails with information about products and other content we think may be of interest to you and services, provided you have given your prior consent.

Sharing information with other people

We only share your personal and other information with our business partners or contractors who work with us to carry out our business and who are obliged by us to use the information only for the purpose of carrying out the business activities agreed with us. We therefore share data with:

payment providers (bank, post office, PayPal);
the deliverers of the goods ordered (post office, DPD and other parcel deliverers)
those involved in the storage and dispatch of goods;
accounting services;
the hosts of our website or our emails
providers of computer services for our information system; and
providers of marketing activities if we authorise them to carry them out on our behalf.

All of the aforementioned persons involved in the performance of our business activities are bound by the same regulations as BioEsenca d.o.o. to protect the information or personal data collected on our behalf about our users.

We may also disclose your personal data when required to do so by law or when requested to do so by authorised government authorities (inspections).

Retention period of personal data

We store personal data in accordance with the rules of Article 15 of the General Data Protection Regulation.

Thus, we keep personal data for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was obtained and used or as long as required by tax and accounting regulations.

Pursuant to Article 15 of the General Data Protection Regulation, BioEsenca d.o.o., as the data controller, is obliged to provide the data subject, upon his/her request, with (1) confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning him/her are being processed, (2) access to or reproduction of such personal data, i.e. access to their content, and (3) where applicable, the following information:

the purposes of the processing,
the types of personal data concerned,
the user to whom the personal data have been or will be disclosed,
where possible, the envisaged period of retention of the personal data or, if this is not possible, the criteria to be used to determine that period,
the existence of a right to obtain from the controller the rectification or erasure of personal data or the restriction of the processing of personal data relating to the data subject, or the existence of a right to object to such processing,
the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority,
where the personal data are not collected from the data subject, any available information concerning their source,
the existence of automated decision-making, including profiling.

BioEsenca d.o.o. shall keep the personal data of the data subject until the withdrawal of the consent to the storage and processing of the data of the data subject who has provided them, unless otherwise provided by law.

Collected and non-personal data

For BioEsence business purposes, we share aggregated and/or anonymous information that does not identify you. For example, we may disclose the number of visitors to our websites, the average purchase amount, etc. We may also share aggregated and/or anonymous information with our business partners for our business purposes.

Your choices and access to your information and control

You may stop receiving promotional emails from BioEsenca d.o.o. by following the unsubscribe instructions in each such email you receive. If you wish to unsubscribe from our newsletters, you can adjust your preferences at any time in your account or directly from the link in the "footer" of the email. Alternatively, you may contact our customer service by phone or by mail (info@bioesenca.si) to request that we unsubscribe you from receiving our newsletter.

We will comply with your request to stop sending you promotional emails and text messages from BioEsenca. However, we may continue to send you messages related to the purchase service, such as emails confirming purchases made through our website. We may keep information for record keeping purposes, for example to ensure that we have complied with consumer requests not to send them certain types of messages.

Mobile text messaging

BioEsenca d.o.o. or our delivery services may also send you mobile text messages (SMS) in order to deliver your order as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Modifying and deleting your data

We allow you to keep your information up to date. BioEsenca allows you to view or update the personal data you provided when registering online.

We offer you the ability to exercise certain controls and choices in relation to our processing of your data, including:

Registered users can withdraw or re-consent to receive emails in their account under Newsletter Subscriptions or by writing to info@bioesenca.com if our processing of your personal data is based on prior consent.

You may request that BioEsenca permanently delete your personal data by making a written request to info@bioesenca.com, by deleting your user account in its entirety, and by requesting third parties with whom we may have shared your data to do the same. You can also delete your entire user account and all of your data yourself in your account under Privacy Tools - Delete Account.

If you contact us by e-mail at info@bioesenca.si, we will need to verify your identity for security purposes. Changes may take up to 14 days to become active.

If you believe that we have violated any of your data protection rights, you may file a complaint with a supervisory authority in Slovenia.

We work with third parties such as advertisers, publishers, social networks, search engines (e.g. Google), advertising companies working on our behalf to improve the relevance of the ads we show. We do not collect personal data of persons under the age of 18.
